About Us

Indira Vijaysimha is an educationist who has worked extensively in teacher training programmes and was a faculty member at Azim Premji University. Indira is the founder of Poorna Learning Centre in Bangalore, an alternative school which promotes inclusive and ecologically sustainable education.

Sumitra has been a facilitator learner at The School and Paathshala. Currently, she is the Principal of Paathshala.

Sumitra has been closely involved in incorporated practices of sustainable living at Paathashala.

She has also been part of many outreach programs and  reaching out to diverse groups of schools.

Mr Attaullah Khan is the Principal of KK English School, Varthur. He is a known name in the field of lake revival (Varthur Lake). His various innovative ideas about integrating nature in the day to day school curriculum has been a constant source inspiration for us. The connect he feels with nature and his will to make a difference reflects in all the stories he shares.

Sharon is the Principal of Prakriya Green Wisdom School. Having lived in the hills of Shillong right upto her adulthood her connect with hills, trees and forests is deep and elemental. Her belief that living in harmony with nature is the path to a compassionate world has enabled her to connect with and commit to the school's nature connect programs, green wisdom classes and give shape to them . 

Sarvesh Srinivasan the Director at Gear Innovative Intl School. He has a diverse work experience in various fields which includes designing and mentoring. He was a Partner at Thinc design, a firm that believes in pushing the boundaries of design. At think CIQ, he served as an Operations Director, responsible for executing the founders' vision and making the venture self-sufficient.
